You know what sucks about hockey today?  the pussification of it.  If I were a Hawk player and Torres took out one of our elite players I would fight him in a heart beat.  How is it that fights dont happen after such crazily cheap shots?  I know I know instigator penalty, probably the worst rule EVER.  But Id say F it, I dont care if I get an instigator, Id clean Torres's clock so hard that any other cheap-shotting a-hole comes to town they are going to think twice.

once upon a time two guys would drop the gloves and sh!t kick each other, and the respect would be earned..then they would go for beers afterwards . now they get their gay lover Jimbo to caress their heads and tell them it will all be ok..lame....did i mention they are wearing their #6 Judy Cutler jerseys at the time?

No consistency with the suspentions.  Poster boy for discipline (Torres) gets 25 games for a hit that was .4 seconds late.  Deliberate elbow to the head by Keith on a former Art Ross winner get's 5?  Bitz gets 2 for ahit from behind.  Weber gets fined???  Discipline needs to be standardized.  Torres get's 25 then Keith should have got 50 because the puck was not in the area of the hit and Keith deliberatly used his elbow to target the head.

I think your missing the point,when you drive a shoulder elbow or forearm into an opponents head and cause an injury time doesn`t matter,DUH !

What about the Keith hit??  Keith used the elbow?  So if Torres got 25 then Keith should have got 25 too.  My point was to standardize the discipline.....
