Site Staff n/a 8/27/2012 1:55 PM All, please knock off the bickering and fighting on world chat. Discussing trades, etc. is fine but please be polite and gracious when dealing with one another. Threats, obscenities and other derogatory posts are against our Fair Play Guidelines.
Site Staff n/a 8/27/2012 1:55 PM In regards to trade offers, if you feel strongly against it you can veto it. You may bring it up to the commish or even share your feelings as to why it's not fair. However, you cannot campaign to get a trade vetoed.

That said, I don't even understand the bolded part.    If you share your feelings, aren't you campaigning?    If not, at what point does your "feeling sharing" become a campaign?

Exactly.  This part is confusing.

And I don't know that there was a narc.  Threads like these will draw attention from CS.  Anyone reading in on WC will quickly determine the high level of personal bickering occurring.

You got me.  Although you and I dont always see eye to eye.  I respect the fact that you dont "share your feelings" about these trades being bad then try to pull them off.  Your at least consistent.

I think what they are saying is that:

a)  you can say "I vetoed this trade because blah blah blah . . . "

b)  you cannot say "Others should veto this trade because blah blah blah . . . "

Subtle difference.  Passive vs. aggressive campaigning.

That makes sense I guess.  Walk the line I guess is the point.

I've never seen CS enter a world's business unless requested.    Someone narced.

And if that subtle difference is what they're pointing to, well, I don't know what else to say but "That's retarded."

I don't think any of those have the same disparity in talent as the one trop had vetoed.     That's not to say they aren't veto-worthy but comparing them to trop's deal is the same as comparing that complete turdburg that brian had vetoed last season to trop's.    Completely different.
8/28/2012 2:43 PM
FWIW, they are making it more difficult to defend the approval/veto process in Hamilton though.
8/28/2012 2:45 PM
If this keeps up, no one would ever want to join Hamilton, so the veto process becomes moot anyway.

To be clear, i am not comparing them to my trade. The precedent was set, however, and not followed.
