Gah, had three teams miss the playoffs by a combined six games, including my Coors team which pulled an 07 Mets-style dive at the end of the season...

OK - I can update the standings through the end of the regular season, including all tie-breaker games.  briianjw got unlucky with division alignment and got only 4 teams into the playoffs, opening the door for discodemo and ybjsports.

Every year, there are a few 90+ win teams that miss the playoffs.  Here is the list for this year's tournament.

* Oddly enough, wetwillytwo's 92-win team was only the 5th best record in the NL.  There were 5 teams in the NL that 68 or fewer games.  And it's not like there was an 83 win team win a division in the AL.  The AL playoff teams won 100, 96, 95 and 91 games.

And I had an 89 win team that blew a 3 game lead with 3 to play. Really impressive finish by my teams.

So the projected cutoff (top 24) this year is 565 points.  Here are the cutoff point totals for the past five tournaments.
2013:  578 points
2012:  558 points
2011:  565 points
2010:  557 points
2009:  557 points
Just a reminder of how many points are typically needed to make it into the top 24.

I have two teams left, my best team, 103 wins, the most wins in that theam, was smoked in the first round.  Unfortunately my two remaining teams each play Brianjw next.

It looks like the 100+ win teams went 8-7, which is typical WIS, considering their opponent probably averaged less than 90 wins.

Bonus = 5 points for making playoffs + 5 points for every series won + 1 point per playoff win.
