I just downloaded the salaries file (with stats), then loaded into Excel. It was easy to manipulate the data to get a listing of eligible teams. I can provide a list of the eligible teams if anybody wants it.
The research is still time consuming, but FUN. There's no real easy way, even in Excel, to easily identify teams with great twist options that won't get drafted. You could do a query on low-salary guys, but sometimes cheap players (even under $1M) have value. On the flip side, sometimes expensive players who suck (i.e., 150+ IP pitchers with whips in the 1.40+ range) might be viable twist candidates, because nobody wants to waste a roster spot on an expensive mop-up pitcher.
So I have been essentially going team by team, trying to find good options. I do have another option I am looking at, to possibly replace the 77 Reds.
