ohhh so this is the guy who knocked me off the d2 rpi top spot! interesting. well, im glad it was done as part of a resume like that :) i blame the projection report, we were the best d2 conf in the game back then, but had no where near the conf rpi those guys had. d2/d3 conferences have been able to get way deeper since NT seeding was reworked.
anyway very nice job dan! its 2 more, to tie me on the final 4s, but close enough :) jsa already beat me on that, hes got 8 now i think, but i guess 7 still stands in d2. love seeing great accomplishments like this, hope you keep that job a while and keep pushing! the two of you are really chipping away at SIUE's records, is only right, did jsa bring you into this game?
Yes, I'm staying at Bakersfield a while. That's my favorite team I coach right now. I like DII best, just happen to have more DIII teams because I like the conferences i'm in dont want to leave. I left Tarleton St. because I felt my team kept under performing and just needed a change, so trying out high level DI.
And yes, jsa brought me into the game, and was definitely my mentor. But he sticks to DIII, so I don't have to compete against him in DII.
Gillispie, we never played together, but your records are mostly what I aim for. You obviously had an amazing run at SIUE. Maybe we'll find you back at DII some day.
