But on topic Kimball from St. John's got the job. Very elite coach, so there were coaches qualifed. Seems to be that lw and chap just weren't there long enough which seems to be the worst part of the job process(time), they probably meet the success meter, but not for a long enough time(which is bs). You could make the case that chap and lw had better resumes the past 4 seasons, but Kimball has arugueable one of the best overall resumes in Wooden.
Wonder who else qualified for it, because CS said there was a few.
When you do not have immediate success, say you get to the NT and lose in the first round, if you do that 10 years, consistency should be rewarded... You have proven to be good, but not near elite but with some tweaks, you could get to the sweet sixteen, and then learn another thing and finally win it.
