Sandlot (aside from the last five minutes) and the (original) Bad News Bears are better baseball movies.
I agree completely about Sandlot and the original (Walter Mathau) Bad News Bears deserving to be on the list.

But Kevin Costner, whatever you want to say about him, knows how to play and is a pretty good hitter as he showed in batting practice one time if I recall.

Susan Tedeschi. Had to look her up. Their 2012 album won a Grammy for best Blues album. No small award...he is a fabulous slide player..,
