i really think we should wait until the new players are released to start the league up

obviously we all want to use the new players, but it will also probably help fill the league...i really hate the thought of having 6 or 7 owners taking two teams when we can just wait another month and have it filled with 24 owners and the new players

anyone else feel the same?

Who, from this season is everyone waiting for though? Westbrook and Harden are going to be turnover kings. I guess Kawhi maybe. Embiid should be in interesting backup big. Can't think of anyone else who had such an amazing year that we would use them over the usual suspects.

I'll wait if that's consensus. I don't worry a little about losing momentum. Even years ago it took several owners taking two teams to fill this. Do we have any idea when the new players are coming?

Oh - and Harden will be pretty damned appealing I would think. He's TO's aren't that bad. And its not just 2017 seasons, it's players in 2017 on new teams (one in particular that makes a tasty team even more tasty) that opens up possibilities.

Yeah, Durant. I get it.
Although the season you would use from him is already in the system, which is my point. There aren't really any versions of players you would use from this past season over their previous versions. No one is going to use this version of Durant over his MVP season (at least in this theme). And he has met the criteria of playing in at least one game for the franchise, as we all know. No reason to wait for WIS, which is like watching paint dry.
Not complaining, just not understanding the logic. If everyone wants to wait though, it's cool, just not necessary in my humble opinion.

I'm fine with starting now. Just thought I'd throw that suggestion out there. Plenty of 16-17 players that would make rosters.
