Correct.

My previous answer refers to when the player draft starts.

Question- If one of your 3 twists is part of your team in the AL but your twist finds this player in NL, how do you communicate this?

"One more Twist Rule. Of the 22 players you drafted from the other 22 teams, you are allowed to twist up to three of these players to any season you want. You do not have to announce which players will be twisted and their original salary will be used for purposes of determining draft order each successive round. So in all, at least 21 of your 25 players will be actual drafted seasons and (up to) 4 of your players will be twisted to a different season. You are allowed to twist any of those 4 players to the opposite league. You are not allowed to twist a player to a year prior to 1920. Also, you are not allowed to twist a player to the same team/season as one of the 24 single season teams selected. You are allowed to twist a player that appeared on a blacklisted team (see below for blacklisted teams)."

You do not have to communicate to me which drafted players you are twisting (although in many cases, it will be obvious). The only known player being twisted is after round 10, when everybody gets to pick a player from one of their two original teams. Even then, you don't have to tell me which year you are twisting to.

I won't find out which season you are twisting players to until your rosters are submitted (although in some cases, it will be obvious).

Let me give an example- the 2nd AL team (if nobody picks it) which I pick. It has a player I wish to draft. The player does not play for a team picked in the NL.
Is this ok? Must I want to twist players until Round 10?
4/25/2017 4:34 PM
In. I'll submit my team tonight.
4/25/2017 4:35 PM
sohio4ever... Of the two teams you submit up front, you will pick one player from each team (one must be a hitter, one a pitcher)... These two players CAN NOT be twisted. The only twist you get from either of these two teams comes from your selection after round 10. Since there will be others drafting from this team over the first 10 rounds, they will get lots of shots at grabbing any potential stud twist candidates. Most likely, the post-round-10 twist player will not be a stud, but simply an above average player.

In . . . . 1963 Dodgers, 99-63

FYI - For those that want to change your team, this is allowed although you are still locked in to your draft slot.

It's weird that you just posted that because I just realized (about five minutes ago) that I misread the theme description. After reading your response to SOHIO4EVER, I suddenly realized that we only get to select ONE player or pitcher per team that we draft. For whatever reason, I was telling myself I got to choose one player AND one pitcher per team. Anyway, I no longer need or desire the 1948 Redbirds. I'd like to change my first team selection to the 1997 Montreal Expos.

I'll take the 1975 cinci reds
4/25/2017 5:19 PM
thejuice6, the 1997 Expos were a below .500 team and are not eligible.

Man, I'm really with it - I picked a fine time to stop sniffing glue. Be right back with an updated, "legal" pick...
