Since someone brought up the usage chart in the other forum, is figure I'd carry it out here... So... we know that the chart cannot possibly be correct as it is, right? It has 27.2 listed as 4 points AND 6 points- and the same thing for every other transition... I' just wondering if they has ever been any clarification on that... I ask Ashmael, who posted the chart, over a year ago for clarification and didn' get an answer.... It would be helpful to know the answer- especially for the 1-2 point transition and the 2-4 point transition. It would be nice to know if 17.5 is 1 or 2 points... it would be nice to know if 22.1 is 2 or 4 points.... But no one 'really' knows....
Some one asked this same question on Ash's forum a while back and this what he said:
"The chart came straight from WiS itself. Nobody ever accused them of being very good at anything lol. You should have seen how messed up the first chart was they showed us (tier 4 was 17.5 to 27.2 & tier 3 was 20.5 to 27.2... like... huh?!)
anyway, it's pretty easy to tell: do a search for the player in question and place 22.1 as the maximum for usage. If he doesn't appear, then he's tier 3, not tier 4. If he appears, he's tier 4. Same principle works at every breakpoint.
For example, to figure out if 14-15 Joakim Noah (13.7% usg) is tier 5 or tier 6, I placed 13.7 usage as the maximum. I got zero search results. I then put it as minimum & he popped up. Thus, 14-15 Joakim Noah (13.7% usg) is tier 5 & worth 1 point against the team possession penalty."
