Riddle # 15 (Solved!) Topic

My last guess will be wrong but maybe it will get the rest of you thinking along a different line.

Jabari Parker.

Salt is something found in water, on land, in the Bible and in a church (literally holy salt for Pentecostal.) That could be a clue for Salt Lake City, i.e. The LDS Church.

Mormons would go on mission to South America, eastern Europe and Spain (there is an LDS church in Spain) and are probably told to go back home often enough. Parker is a Mormon whose mom emigrated to the US and was raised in Salt Lake City. There are only a few Mormon NBA players, so this shouldn't be too long of a tangent.
If this is correct, and it may be (I don't know the answers), these riddles are getting extremely difficult!

Not Jabari or K-Love. Both solid attempts.

A reminder/tip: The four parts are all different parts, and in order.

This one was intended to be difficult, you all were solving the other ones way too quickly haha.

I have a third clue but will hold off on it. I think it will be really cool when someone figures this out just based on what is posted so far.

Keep trying people! Someone will figure it out!

Hello people, here is riddle 15. This one has a riddle within the riddle. There is a third clue that I will reveal later if this proves to be too difficult.
  • I am four parts: What Am I?
    1. Is found in water.
    2. Is found on land.
    3. Is found in the Bible
    4. Is found in a church.
  • A Slovenian, Argentinean, Spaniard, and myself walk into a bar. The bartender says: go back home.
Who am I?

Riddle Point for the correct answer, Street Cred for an alternative answer that fits all the clues.

Make sure your forum settings are set to 'image view' 'full' to see the leader board.
This is ******* hard one.

Let's start with the Slovenian part, as that has to be the most specific part. There have been only a handful of Slovenian NBA players, but let's start with the two that are most likely -- Dragic and Luka Doncic. They are most likely teammates with whoever is the subject of the riddle.

Now, why does the bartender say "Go back home"? I'd wager it's because whoever he is talking to is underage or all parties are underage (in the US).
So, Luka is underage now, or Dragic could have been underage when he was drafted (could this be someone from the 2008 draft class)? These mystery people are also probably all on the same team, otherwise not sure how they're connected. Slovenia, Argentina, and Spain are all represented on this year's Real Madrid team. I would imagine the subject of this riddle could be on that team, but also would have had to play in the NBA. That gives us Rudy Fernandez, Gustavo Ayon, Anthony Randolph, and Jeff Taylor.

Now, back to the first part -- This play most likely played on four teams. Something about these teams fits the four clues maybe? Anthony Randolph played for four teams, but they don't fit the clues. Rudy only played for two...ehh **** it, I don't know.

Also, thought about it being the Heat for a little while. Other than Slovenia, can't find a connection to the Countries, but 1) WADE in water, WAITERS on land, LUKE in the Bible, Justise in a Church? Church seems weird there, b/c if Justise was actually the clue, why not just say court?

Can't figure this one out, but it's good.

Loving the attempts and breakdowns.

For the record, I showed this to a few co-workers. Today one of them finally solved it.

So it is possible based on this info!!

1. Wake (as in behind a boat)
2. Forest
3. Demon
4. Deacons

Too lazy to try to figure out whether Danny Manning has any meaningful connection to those countries...

He coaches on under 20 FIBA team. I was thinking of him or Tim Duncan. Duncan also played on that team..

but great job getting Wake Forest! mind blown!

Or Chris Paul also played on that team.

Winner winner chicken dinner!

dahsdebater correctly solved the 'what' riddle with Wake Forest! He earns Street Cred.

Benis swooped in with the Riddle Point for Chris Paul!

The second clue is in reference to the Lakers/Hornets/Rockets trade that was announced publicly before it was officially approved. Players were told they had been traded, but then told they were staying home. This trade included Scola from Argentina, Dragic from Slovania, and Pau form Spain.

Great job guys!

Wow. That was tough as hell. Dahs deserves the point over me though. That was impressive.

I thought it was the under 21 thing for the bar which is why I mentioned the FIBA under 20 team - which is international and Slovenia hosted previously.

I wasn't even close to solving but, if you use the Bible as a clue in the future, you may want to include what version you are referring to. You must be looking at the New International? IDK. The King James version doesn't mention the word demon once (it uses devil instead and thus Wake Forest never would have come to mind.)
