I think most everyone is surprised at McHale in the 1st. Without looking, I would guess it is the first time.
I would think so, too. I would also think someone would have said as much, which is why I said what I said.

By the numbers Whiteside is a slight reach. That being said, the Gobert-Whiteside combo has been all over the open leagues and it will be awesome to see a great owner like dh try and run in it a draft league.

Im not ready to say it was a bad pick. Hard to make a bad pick in the first round. Picks don't become bad until they have the wrong teammates

I am glad to have prompted so much chatter with my pick. Sorry I did not stay in the proper order picking the player at the place they always get picked. Someone should have told me there is an order to be followed - it would have saved me some time. Plus I can see how always picking players at a certain spot takes a lot of the guesswork out of the equation for the other owners - sorry about that.

But I tend to agree with Jhsukow. I am willing to bet that not every team picking prior to mine will have a better record than me.

I don't like him, unless you're playing him at SF and then I don't love giving up even the 1% since this league is so competitive.

I'm ready to say it. I thought he was 99% SF for at least 1 of his better seasons. Turns out not. His best season is 9.2mill, which is a LOT of money in the ODL and you get 24 usage and creb of 26 at PF. ugh. There's just nothing to like. I guess you could go with the 87-88 season where he's 98% elig at SF with creb of 27 and efg over 60%. But for a 1st round pick I don't get it. I've never been a fan in the sim, so I may be biased. Plus if you're targeting a SF (deepest position) with your first pick his name should be Larry, Kevin or Dennis.

which season are you planning to use if you don't mind me asking? Or have you not decided?
