I wish we could stop looking at color and start looking at policy and law and fairness. But the media doesn't do that.

as someone who is jewish and grew up in the north.....jews in the north have never felt that we have faced as much adversity as blacks......jews in the south have had more adversity then those in the northern states but we always feel that blacks have had it much worse in the united states....we also dont ever compare the black holocaust to the jewish holocaust...both horrific........without comparison to loss of life.

Jewish people have faced as much adversity as blacks. The country that it happened in is irrelevant. And they still face discrimination in America. This was evidenced the other day. They have done a great job prospering despite the adversity.

Blacks have undoubtedly faced more adversity within the US, but the #1 thing holding blacks back today is generational wealth. I would wager that Jews do not have a ton of "old money" either. You guys should be commended for all that you have overcome. It's no easy task.
