To npb's proposal.. Huh?

I thought the point was to make this more realistic? You suggest moving around West Virginia and Nebraska and to do that you put Notre Dame in the big east... Who is not in the big east so why would that be an improvement?

In your list I feel like there are so many teams in the wrong conference that it defeats the whole purpose. If you're going to rearrange the whole thing for the sake of accuracy then make it accurate.

I do like how you bumped Rutgers down to the A10.

Yeah, that 3-way would complete the Big-12 and Big Ten (would join the current ten Big-12 teams plus Mizzou and aTm... and gives the Big Ten their original 12 teams before Rutgers & Maryland joined). And it puts Notre Dame with some traditional 1996-2013 and 17-year rivals (more appropriate than being in the Big Ten) and it doesn't downgrade the Irish.... so i think it's a net positive for 2 conferences, and a pinch better for the Big East.

Lol... figure the Big East can't go above 12 teams, and Rutgers' previous NCAA was while in the A-10 in 1991.

The greatest trick the devil pulled was convincing the world that Rutgers should be in a major collegiate athletic conference.

Notre Dame in the Horizon should never happen.

How about D1 schools that do not even exist in WIS?

St. Mary's California particularly comes to mind. 5 NCAA tournament appearnces in the last 10 years ... including a Sweet 16.

And speaking of St. Mary's (CA) ... why not International recruits from Australia?

Currently there are 350 D1 basketball schools (324 in WIS)

They should really consider adding another conference to D1 ... AND realignment.

Some of the lesser important but more egregious conference affiliations need to be corrected ... like Alcorn St. and Southern in the Big Sky.
npb is the only player currently coaching U of San Francisco in any world. If he were willing to have his team move to Saint Mary's, I'd think we could get seble on board.

I've been with the SF Dons for 18+ years, and i wouldn't care if the school was switched to St Mary's.
A better analogy is if i was the only owner of San Jose State, and they were placed correctly into the HD Mountain West, and swapped with BYU, who would now correctly be in the WCC.
Also, HD renamed the WCC's UT-Pan-American as the San Diego Toreros... i wasn't here at the time. Did anyone freak out?

No. Around the same time, I asked Tarek to add Loyola Marymount to the game, replacing another "WCC" school in Georgia. He was happy to do so.

Mind you, that was before any humans had coached that program in any world.

No kidding? That's cool. What Georgia school got swapped out?
