Whoa. Which world is this? And what teams are we discussing? I think I missed something. But I did just join 3 D1 worlds all at once basically. So I may not be up for much more of a challenge at the moment. But I'll listen to anything at least

I'm also gonna be honest and say I can't accept that challenge. I may hate D1 so I can't hold my word that I'd stay that long. Maybe we can revisit this some time tho

Update.... the Rupp WCC is now up to 7 coaches, just like that. I'm 99% sure that will be 8. As a coach I talk with has committed to Boise St. So that's all good news.

The bad news is, it's a 5-3 split as far as humans on each half of the conference. We're looking for one more to join the North. Step up and take the challenge......

The Gonzaga job isn't even a crap team. Someone should want that job. To join a conference that will end up boosting your SOS RPI some because of the pool of coaches we have, plus being able to be the clear leader of the conference as well, as far as baseline goes. That HAS to entice someone I would think!

I am tempted but don't think I've ever played in Rupp under my current ID and there's zero chance I ever re-learn and slog through seasons at D3/D2. This is one reason why they need to allow new players to pickup low level D1 teams right away.

Importance of this? Not much, since I already mentioned it earlier. But it's my cheesy way of pushing this thread back to the top..... Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount and San Francisco are waiting for you.

I officially end my push to bring more coaches now. Outstanding turnout so far. And thanks to those of you who accepted the challenge and joined us. No doubt in my mind that it will be 12 deep after next season. But it's always more fun and intriguing when everyone joins at the same time.

I would think a group of us could turn the WORST conference into a competitive place. But I don't "know" that yet due to lack of experience. But if I can take a D prestige team far, put other like minded coaches with me, and we can all do well. (At least I would think!)

Looks at the MEAC in Tarkanian. We have done that and it keeps improving.

We ended up with 9 total humans. The 7 new members all being HD friends for the most part. Very nice push for 1 day effort. I think the idea, some progress, and another push, we can fill it all next season.

This is going to be fun, anyone with Rupp D1 eligibility could join us at signups for the upcoming season too.

is something up with rupp world rollover? new coach signup i had as 6/23 and it kinda says that. perhaps that doesn't mean a coach who played before but hasnt in a while and wants to pick up a d2 test team... and i should have done it during jobs. i thought i could pick up now, but i kinda forget how all that works.

I think it's off by a day because of the technical difficulties day. Should be able to pick teams up at 5 am (ish) tomorrow.

I believe that is correct. Was off by a day in another world very recently.
