Are there some deleted posts in-between all of these rants? Either I am missing something, or this guy likes to hear himself talk.

Asking an honest question here - have tkarhu's responses here improved anyone's opinion of his behavior?

Even if he was truly slighted in this situation, I don't see how this type of response helps anything. Before a few days ago, I would have probably forgotten his name and it would have all faded into the past. But now I'll remember him as the guy who rants, raves, and filibusters when something unfavorable happens. Learning to move on from a situation instead of defending one's honor to the death can do wonders for one's peace of mind...and one's reputation.

Well damn, I'm really glad now that tkarhu0830 didn't enter last year's WISC. Then I really would have lost badly....

did you miss the part where he traded Tom Seaver straight up for Roger Clemens in the middle of the 1986 season in a regressive, then traded away his top 3 draft picks during the 1985 season, then bailed on the league before the 1984 season? It took me two minutes to look that up in the league forum. There's no way to prove his state of mind in making those trades, but I think you would have to concede those are brain-dead moves...unless he had no intention of continuing with the team.

that seems to be what happened to start this thread as well. yes, I would be irritated if the commissioner was ripping me in the league chat for not entering my teams without sitemailing me, but given the two teams in question both failed to win 30 games right after a strong run (where he presumably made similar moves to Seaver for Clemens), there's a pattern here. he even says himself he knows it will hard to find a replacement for him.

if you're going to make all in to win now moves in progressives, you have a responsibility to the league (in particular the other owners who played it out with bad teams when you were good) to stick around to clean up the mess you've made once your title window shuts. repeatedly ditching teams in those circumstances is more than enough grounds for a blacklisting regardless of him throwing insults around.

I see that in tkarhu0830 . Now I do believe he has laced his comments with "some" inflammatory insults. That is not my style. But to be fair, some jumped all over him based solely on the comments of a few.

My conclusion is tkarhu0830 is the one who should be believed. There has been no counter points to his argument of the facts.

Anybody out there like having their character questioned?

I don't have a dog in the fight, and maybe tkaru0830 feels like he has been attacked, but his responses are less than humble. I get a post or two of rage, but his continual rampage is something else. In my opinion, he is guilty of using the same attitudes and jabs that he accuses others of using. That's not the communication of someone who is honestly hurt. It's self-righteousness as it's finest. I don't know where the truth lies, but some people need to chill out.
