My guess is that he will wake up and pick around 2:00 or 3:00am. I am usually still up when he does this. If anyone from 6-10 wants to send me a proxy I can post several picks at once and we can continue Sunday morning.

so yeah - since we have some new blood and also since it can never be said enough
proxy is polite and helps you focus ahead in the draft which is kind of enlightened self-interest
SM next two (at least)
try not to name names, it is considered louche in the more civilized precincts

As long as I have known about this league everyone has had the opportunity to request a draft slot that is closer to 1 or closer to 24. I was thinking, why stop there? What if (see what I did there?) everyone was allowed to request a specific spot. If you are the only one who asks for a spot, it's yours! If, for example, if ten people request #1, then those ten people go into a lottery to see who gets #1. However if someone else requested #2 or #3 or #5 or #8, and they get these spots, then the #1 group would be in a lottery for the highest spots that aren't taken. In this case they would be in the running for #1, #4, #6, #7, #9 and so on.

I think the only way to pick the specific spot is to hold a draft for that as well. Worst record picks 1st.

Some people probably have no idea the draft even started. I never got a SM for it. I got a proxy sent to my SM is the only reason I even know it started....
