Very difficult decision. Since my other team in this league is all-pitching-no-hitting, let's do the opposite with this team.
2013-2014: Detroit Tigers - Miami Marlins
AL West
It was between the 2013-2014 Tigers/Marlins and the team I chose. Interesting.
This 2013-14 Tigers/Marlins team is very difficult to build. Three best best hitters should all be playing DH. The Cabrera clones are going to have to start at 1B (A-/D) and at 3B (B-/D-) while Victor Martinez (D-/D-/D- at catcher & C-/D- at 1B) will actually start at DH. Except for Stanton, every other offensive player is basically average. I am expecting 40 minus plays at 1B & 3B.
I can't drop one of the Cabreras b/c the alternative is too big a droppoff offensively. Sadly, I cannot take Jose Fernandez short-inning stud season cause I need his innings at starting pitcher.
I wish you had taken this team instead of the 2011-2012: Detroit Tigers - Colorado Rockies team that I wanted.
