just averaging stats like defense, rebounding, fp48 by the amount of mins each player plays. so if you have one guy playing 40mins per game at 100D and another guy playing 8mins per game at 40 defense their weighted average is 90.

For stats that use usage like turnovers or Efg you have to weight them against usage as well.

Thanks Steelers. I didn't do anything to weight eFG% by usage.

Does that look reasonable for a 52m league? This is only my third basketball team. Wound up with 19,800 minutes, so probably a bit too much but was more focused on getting some better defense on the bench.
I'm no expert although I usually at least do decent in this league. IMO defense is a prerequisite to doing well so you're going to struggle big time. with that said your efg and assists are great.

Using the enigmatic 02-03 $M8.5 of Tracy McGrady to build this team maybe a wild reach. He is an undrafted player and I tried to build around his insane 35% Usg.
Rudy, Bobby & Buck form the front court. Their
Usg% is a consistent 17% & 18%. Too low for
$52M? I dunno. Great D, solid creb and hi efg%.
Tyrese and Kyrie join TMac for a hi usage% backcourt. Defense is slightly above average
and they will carry the scoring load.
Had to go very low Usg% at SF to keep from
falling off the flat earth boundary of 115%.
So went with stone hands Ed Davis and
Nicolas Batum who will set his anchor
beyond the trey and find safe harbor in the
corners.
Probably not the smartest play but curiosity prevailed. Worst case scenario we sail over
the edge and are doomed to lottery purgatory!

I see it as a well built squad from a genius manager. I predict between 85 and 90 wins. Well done sailor!

Nice to see McGrady get some love. He was a staple in this league before the offensive efficiency of recent NBA seasons overtook conventional team-building strategy.

Troy Murphy at 28?
I believe that at that time he had a 90 defense rating. Defensive rebounding affected the defense rating.

That explains Nater too.
