I'm in
Rule: 1 player must have his first name Paul
Glen has part of that in his rule 12 Paul

This is far too complicated for my brain to handle. I will withdraw my rule. Good luck all

Must draft one player with first name starting with letter C and last name starting with letter N

Chuck Norris never played hockey ;-p

I offer up the following:

3 players will have become TV or radio broadcasters in their post retirement endeavours.

Buster has dropped out, so, to the chagrin of Glen, no one gets to draft Orr!

How about all teams must have 1917-18 Cy Denneny
In the past, there hasn't been a rule requiring the drafting of a specific player. the rules have been about the search for a player that fits within the parameters of the rule-and causing massive amounts of headaches of trying to get a player that fits within a rule, or multiple rules. i defer to the ancient one for a decision on the proposed rule
OK. How about one player with 4 penalty minutes per game minimum and over $3 million salary
This gives you exactly 4 choices:

1917-18 Cy Denneny
1919-20 Sprague Cleghorn
1973-74 Dave Schultz
1987-88 Bob Probert.

Given the other rules already out there for D-men, Cleghorn essentially can't be used, so realistically, you only have 3 choices.
if it was 3 PIM/game- there'd be about 40 seasons to choose from

That was Bruno's rule, not Buster.

So because there are only 6 starting defensemen, the 3 defensive rating are fine? Ok then 3 starting forwards one C, one RW and 1 LW must have a combination of shooting percentage less than 7 and D-rating less than 60.
question: "a combination of a shooting % of less than 7." does that mean an avg shooting % of >7? or the total shooting % cannot be greater than 7 for the 3 players combined- so an avg of 2.3%?

I took it to mean that each of the 3 players has to have shooting % less than 7% AND d-rating under 60.

Waiting for clarification via sitemail from Jon.

well, jon is a flyers fan, so he is used to rooting for teams with a shooting % under 7%........and a winning percentage to match :)
