Jerry Sloan, still available. All those Utah seasons so you start with Stockton and Malone and Hornacek and he coached 3 seasons with the Bulls where you can get Gilmore, Theus and Greenwood. Gilmore gives Stockton and Malone a great center, which they never had in all those years.

I am interested but wanted Rick Carlisle (literally coached my three favorite players). I'll post when I pick a coach.

I am curious how lop sided this league will be.... The Cap is really high, I think the obvious top picks are gonna run away with it at this cap.... Still should be fun, but I think if it's too lopsided we should go with a lower cap if you run this a 2nd time.

My plan for season 2 is to ban any coach whose team won over a certain number of games in season 1. Not sure what the number will be yet, probably around 50. The cap is $52 rather than $47. Do you see that as "really high?" I believe that's what a lot of the theme leagues use.

So it depends on player pool. With a league like this where you get certain options that have a heavy advantage a lower cap is better. I think 47-48 would be perfect for season 2 without the need to ban a coach. That's around the cap for the old franchise leagues that used to be popular. Right now 52 allows the top teams to STACK talent. With the cap of 52 the guy with Phil Jackson could EASILY have Jordan, pippen, Rodman, and Shaq all at once and it's going to be very hard to compete with that. And that goes for any of the top coaching options. Shoot with 52 I was comfortably able to have James, Durant, and Davis all on the same team with Vogel. The lower cap makes those top coaches have to make tougher decisions which, in theory, level the playing field.
