Returners: I’m still firmly in the camp that feels CF Steve Cavan belongs in the HOF: 4 Gold Gloves (3 in CF), 419 HR, .850 OPS, MVP. They don’t make center fielders like him. I would also advocate for RF Raimel Herrera — this HOF class’s OPS leader and top-three finisher in each slash-line category (.292/.392/.571), MVP, Rookie of the Year, 7-time All-Star and World Series champ — and RP Joaquin Cora, a six-time World Series champ, five-time All-Star and a Fireman award winner who ranks top-5 in King Felix history in WHIP, opposing batting average and opposing slugging percentage.

But the newbies warrant serious consideration:

SP Andrea Cortes: The man won three Cy Youngs. 253 wins. 3.01 career ERA. He’s a Hall of Famer.

SS Rigo De Los Santos: One of the greatest defenders in King Felix history. A 5-time Gold Glover (3 at SS, 1 apiece at CF and 3B). Only two players have ever had more plus plays at the shortstop position in this world, and they couldn’t sniff the .747 career OPS De Los Santos posted. He had 241 HR and 372 SB. We’ve never had a true SS make the King Felix HOF. I’d stump for him.

3B Jermaine Foster: A 7-time Silver Slugger (5 times at B, 2 in RF) and a Gold Glover in RF< Foster had a .293 career AVG, 2,844 total hits and 594 SB to go with 354 HR. He did it all, and he did it for a long, long time.

3B Eric Stone: A two-time Gold Glove third baseman with 531 HR and 233 SB? Sign me up.

I'm not sure we actually need to LOCK and STRONGLY RECOMMEND people. That probably leads to frustration from other owners who don't care for the HOF committee at all. The point is to deliver a few recommendations. If it were up to me, I would recommend Andrea Cortes, Steve Cavan and Raimel Herrera, and briefly name a few others that should be considered. What do you think? Hit me with your preferred names.

Hello, I like your analysis. I was thinking Jermaine Foster: 1730 Runs scored, 549 SB long time offensive force. Clint Ramirez: career .541 Slugger World Series champ, MVP, All-star, silver slugger with .912 OPS. And a booming 572 HR and 1621 RBI. SP Andrea Cortes for exactly the reasons stated above.
