Pete Rose was a disgusting human being. He had a relationship with an underaged girl when he was 34. If he doesn't make the HOF, I'm totally fine with that.
Rose belongs in the HOF.
If you let Rose in, you have to make a strong case for everyone else getting in. Rose's gambling incident, inappropriate relationship with an underage girl, tax evasion and it's suggested that he used altered/corked bats.

basically every contact quality metric that is controlled for in statcast metrics (exit velocity, hard hit %, avg distance, etc)
