Never saw this one before, Steve but would love to go with Frank Robinson. I'll look for a 2nd if need be.
Thanks for joining Russ. I used to run this regularly over 10:years ago. It used to fill quickly.

2nd teams are welcome.

For my 2nd team, I will go with Dusty Baker...thanks!
Thanks. When we get a couple more signed up I will get a league number so owners who have their teams ready can enter them and I can start checking them.

Dont feel in a rush anyone to enter, just would be a nice head start to not have to check them all at once

I was considering Baker but you beat me to him.
Lots of great choices left though

I was trying to decide between Pete Rose and Miller Huggins...

I'll take...

Miller Huggins

American baseball player (1878–1929)
Miller James Huggins was an American professional baseball player and manager. Huggins played second base for the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals. He managed the Cardinals and New York Yankees, including the Murderers' Row teams of the 1920s that won six American League pennants and three World Series championships. Huggins was born in Cincinnati. He received a degree in law from the University of Cincinnati, where he was also captain on the baseball team. Rather than serve as a lawyer, Huggins chose to pursue a professional baseball career. He played semi-professional and minor league baseball from 1898 through 1903, at which time he signed with the Reds. As a player, Huggins was adept at getting on base. He was also an excellent fielding second baseman, earning the nicknames "Rabbit", "Little Everywhere", and "Mighty Mite" for his defensive prowess and was later considered an intelligent manager who understood the fundamentals of the game Continued in Wikipedia
