Perhaps going forward there should be some sort of penalty for missing deadlines? I certainly could have used an extra day to research, if for no other reason than to make sure I liked the choice we made. I know real life happens at times, but barring an emergency it would be easy enough to sitemail someone else on the tribe and ask them to submit a pick if I couldn't.
