I think I'm going to have to bow out...I'm just not sure I'll have the time for it.

Our little world has begun to take some heat in the HBD forum. Rather that its a new world and "there are too many right now."

It doesn't surprise me at all. The people other than live folks have certainly let me know how the rest of the site thinks of us.

I think it's terrific that some live players want to try out HBD. I don't happen to care for live play personally, but I am in even more sim leagues than HBD. They are both great games and I think that HBD is even more addictive than Sim baseball. The strategy is more complex. The time requirement is much greater during certain periods, particulary during season start ups and the amateur draft, but I enjoy it greatly and think most rabid baseball fans will as well. Obviously (I think) most live players are rabid baseball fans.

Okay we have 4 open spots. 2 straglers plus staind who had his division taken by jesse1. and then taints spot. I will give away taints spot shortly. Hopefully Jesse moves out to the south and we get things rolling by tomorrow.

Okay it looks like we will need one for Taint's spot (which is now NL West) and possibly one for the NL East as I have not heard from the owner despite the fact he has opened sitemails.

If anyone has any recommendations of who to offer to I am willing to listen, other wise I will begin on my waitlist.

Assume the2nd opening is AL North, as the AL East is filled. For the openings (I assume we have the necessary 8 new members) I suggest luisemilio, who has 27 seasons of HBD with 8 div.titles & 1 WS title, and cinmark44 who has 26 seasons with 8 div.titles and 1 WS titles. Both appear to be very stable and aren't over committed as cinmark44 has only 1 team and luisemilio has 2.

Sorry yes AL North, i have the divisions listed E, N S W in my note book and they are N, E, S, W on the site.

I'd be in favor of stable, experienced owners instead of guys who don't respond to sitemails.

I think Luisemilo is cutting back on teams. He was in Warning Track since it's inception, and when we rolled over he did not renew his team. He's a good manager, though.

That's bad news that he did not renew. The offsetting good news was that he was in that league for 8 seasons, so it appears he is not a one and done owner
