I like the firing of Angelo, but no so keen on the Martz firing. Its not his fault that the he had a crappy O-Line and  pathetic WR's to work with. Now the Cutler has to learn his 3rd playbook in 4 years. To me this is a half-*** attempt to pacify Bear fans. They should have burned the mother down, cleaned house and brought in a whole new regime.  One more thing, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ruskell is named the GM and Tice is named OC - after all the Bears are cheap fukks and they are already on payroll.
No.  It's not Martz's fault that he had a crappy O-Line with an injury to Carimi or that he had poor WRs to work with, or that Cutler got hurt.  But it IS Martz's fault that knowing what he had to work with, he didn't try to devise a winning offensive strategy until the Bears were 2-3

Go ahead and blame Martz for the Bears misfortunes. It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that out their first 5 opponents, 4 of them made the playoffs. And I guess oodles of  proven OC talent are just beating down Lovie's door for an interview too, huh? What is different now than when Martz was hired? Lameduck Lovie is on a one year deal just like in 2010, when he couldn't get anyone to even interview for the position.  FWIW, the story changed to Martz resigning and not being canned, so I say good for him, maybe he'll get a job where the GM won't hamstring him again.

Martz's problem was not dumbing down the offense for Hanie. He should have put the team's welfare ahead of his ego.

Perhaps true, but he still should have had something better than Hanie to work with.

Yes, that falls on Angelo but it was obvious Angelo was not going to budge and go out and get a McNabb, so Martz should have worked with Hanie and found out what he does best and go from there.

He totally regressed from that Oakland game, in which he was pretty terrible but showed some promise.  That reverse screen near the end of the first half was a disaster, not even Cutler could get that play to work.

Bears just buttfucked the Phins.

Sent two 3rd round picks for Brandon Marshall.

We sure did.  Now we need to get a few actual o-linemen!!  The NFC North has some farging STUD wideouts now.

I don't get it. Everyone keeps saying this is good for the Bears - as if watching Cutler's backup underthrow a Pro Bowl WR is going to somehow be more fun

Boy, you are retarded year-round, aren't you?

He's versatile and consistent.

Although, to be fair, Marshall is a nutjob diva.

Although, to be fair, Cutler is a raging vagina
