Gilbert Gottfried was fired as the voice of the Aflac duck over jokes he made about Japan in the wake of the earthquake/tsunami.

They pretty much had to do it in today's PC society.  Gottfried made some 9/11 jokes shortly after that happened.  He lacks a common sense filter.

Second time that I have taken over a brand new team that was beyond immediate repair.  I have some decent talent that I would rather trade away for younger player or at least to try and dump salary so I can look to the future and start rebuilding.  It gets tiresome having your trades veto'ed because it is recognized as a complete salary dump.

Any helpful idea on how to go about this?

You're not gonna like my answer so, if you're a sensitive fellow, don't read any more of this.  Not a fan of salary dumps.  When you give up talent, current or future, without getting talent, current or future, in return, you're f'ing the balance of the world at the top.  You know, with the teams that actually want to win games.  GET SOMETHING IN RETURN!!!!  Not a fan of owners who say "I gotta rebuild" and "I've got some decent talent" in the same breath.  Maybe you should add to your talent base rather than make sure you have no chance to win games.  Not of fan of heavy trading when an owner joins a world.   Worlds play differently.  There's a chance that a team with "some decent talent" is actually much better than the first season owner thinks.  Find out before trading the farm.  You know, unless you're intent on tanking for a few seasons.   I'd veto your crap for talent deals.  And smile about it if you complained.
