Nice win today. Gutted it out. Downie is still an idiot. Don't know how long Malkin will be out after taking that shot off his skate late in the 2nd. He needs to be more level headed though, as he leads us in PIM's. He's more valuable to us on the ice instead of in the box!

I gotta say that I love what Tocchet has done, picking up the pieces from what Melrose threw together and actually has them playing pretty well considering. Some nice players on the 'Ning.

What the H-E "double toothpicks" was up with our d tonight? Loved the way we came out of the gate, then 2 stupid giveaways in the first, and another to start the 2nd and it's game over. Gonchar and Goligoski have been playing like their heads are up their butts. I pray we don't resign Sarge next year. Our pp will suffer, but how much worse can it get??

Take it from a guy who has watched Brian Campbell all year, when guys like Gonchar, Goligoski and Letang are putting up points, you live with the giveaways. But when none of them are scoring and all of em are giving it away at the same time, that can be rough, which is what happened tonight. That being said, how often during a season will all 3 have a terrible night the same night? Just a tough break that it had to be against the Devils.
