Did you purposefully ignore my BSU/TCU question?
1/5/2010 9:38 AM
I did not see it. You must have warped back in time and added it. TIME-WARPER!!!

Not so much. The BCS sort of screwed them over by matching them against one another. Cincy was the rep for the lesser conferences this year. They were destroyed. Georgia stomped Hawaii last year(or the year before). Those types of games represent what we believe would happen if/when BSU/TCU played the Floridas/Alabamas of the world.

Did you hear that the Christmas day "underwear bomber" was wearing a pair of "Fruit of the Booms"?

I did not.

1st Choice: Bacon double Cheesburger, Mushroom Swiss burger, Chili Cheddar Burger?
1/5/2010 11:46 AM
when will duke next play in a bowl game?
1/5/2010 12:40 PM
I'm not much into slathering my burger with extra crap. But, if I had to choose, the BDCB would be the way to go.

The NCAA is steady adding bowl games. Once they hit 50, they'll have a hard time denying Duke a spot.

Was the Boise St. / TCU game last night the most visually stimulating (referring to both team's uniforms) football game you've ever watched?
1/5/2010 12:56 PM
There seemed to be a lot of "flair" with the unis. It was pretty impressive in HD.

Assuming any of them would sign for a one-year, $6M deal, which of the following would you prefer for 2010: Jon Garland, Doug Davis, or Jarrod Washburn?
1/5/2010 1:34 PM
I guess, if those were my only options and I felt the need to **** away 6M, I'd sign Garland. He's only 30ish, throws 200 IP and should compile a league average WHIP/ERA(more or less). Davis/Washburn are 4-5 years older and capable of the same thing. But, as I said, they're 4-5 years older.

Iowa or Georgia Tech?
1/5/2010 2:06 PM
GT. Those fatass Midwesterners have no solution for the option offense.
1/5/2010 2:16 PM
Didnt you say about the same thing about Penn State and Ohio State?
1/5/2010 2:24 PM
I did about Penn State. They played in mud. That suited the style of fatass Midwesterners. They were at home like pigs in slop. I picked Ohio State. Oregon is a Pac10 team. The Pac10 is soft.
