Probably. I watched the start, watched a movie with the wife, took a nap and watched the finish. So I missed about 3 hours of the 14 hour marathon.

how many games is my MG team going to win?
2/16/2010 1:51 PM
The AL is full of 'tards. You will win 88+ unless you start "fixing" your team. Then you'll finish under .500.

"newly retiring Sen. Evan Bayh declared the American political system "dysfunctional," riddled with "brain-dead partisanship" and permanent campaigning"

"But Bayh had apparently become increasingly frustrated in the Senate. In this morning's interview he noted that just two weeks ago, Republicans who had co-sponsored a bill with him to rein in the deficit turned around and voted against their own bill."

Any truth to the current governing being done on both sides of the table? And is the fact that Democrats can't seem to come together on any issues and Republicans can't decide what it is they are for exactly hurting the chances for meaningful legislation?

Goodell is going to make FG by fat guys worth 11 points. Super Bowl bound, baby!!!

I firmly believe that politicians do what benefits them the most. As time moves on, their "beliefs" change. Changing over the course of a couple of weeks seems odd but it happens much more frequently now. So, to answer your question, yes, it is definitely huring the chance of meaningful legislation. Politicians will only "reach across the aisle" if there's something over there that they want.

This team is 13-25 at home and 26-19 on the road. I have tried to build around my stadium to no avail.

What do you think I am doing wrong?
2/16/2010 3:33 PM
Probably everything. But it's also a small sample size. I build my teams to my home strength. Some people go the other way. Not sure what you did.

How easy was it to decipher cold's cryptic post?
2/16/2010 4:30 PM
I think I'd turn around the first 10 and the next 6. 10, 9, 8.....1, 16, 15....11. To me that would help eliminate tanking. Draft manipulators would be more apt to shoot for 10 but, if they miss, they'd be looking at 16th. And, of course, 16th is the last "protected" pick with Type A FA.

Yeah, I feel weird because I knew what he asked.

Mike, how high would a Type A pick be for this guy Willie Gonzalez?
2/16/2010 5:03 PM
I don't think I understand the question. The highest a pick can be for a Type A is 17th.
2/16/2010 5:07 PM
do you think he mean how high would a guy have to be to sign that guy and lose a pick? and i didn't look at the guy.
