It's a euphemism by one of friends nicknamed Lumpy, for "going to bed"/"crashing"/"turning onceself in the the night"

Much like Yogi Berra, Lumpy was known for inane statements. We call them "Lumpy'isms". One of his many other great ones was, when we were driving into Philadelpha one time, while visiting our friend who lived there, and the subject of the "black man march on Washington" was going on about 20 years ago, Lumpy said, "Aw man, if George Washington were alive today, he'd be rolling over in his grave!". One of Lumpy's favorite pickup lines in a bar would be something like "So, you live in a house or something?" or "So, do you live around here often?" I could go on and on....ahhh, good times!
