Not that long if you are tech savvy.... which people are free to reject if they want. BTW, since half of Texas has been on fire the last month or so, it has been an object lesson in the perils of over reliance on technology.

Great Britain's Press has done a better job of covering the events than the US press. "Texas... it is like a whole other Country" They should have gone whole hog with "Texas... it is like a whole other Planet". One the American Media can't find on a map.

i was out tonight with chun hui... we were walking in the shinjeikou area of nanjing... upscale department stores, street vendors selling all kinds of toys and food... a beautiful area with tall skyscrapers and jumbotrons, neon lights, etc... when suddenly, the earth rumbled, then shook and before you knew it, we were fighting for our lives from falling glass and bricks. my god. i pulled chun hui off the sidewalk and we ran into the foyer of the subway and crouched down. right in front of us. the earth opened up about 3 feet wide and swallowed a beggar man. so crazy!. stopped suddenly. what i like about china is that 2 mins after the earthquake, quite a small one actually, people went about their business like nothing happened... and there were 100's of street sweepers out with their home made brooms cleaning up the glass and mortar. haha. mysterious place here, china.

yeah, americam mainstram is totally bogus. totally. we know more of what's happening in the u.s. than americans do. that's for sure.

On your 2nd note I "read' this all the time.  Firstly dont let the headlines fool you, its pretty factual stuff and look at all the links in the lower left hand side.

Anybody remember this one from 3 years ago? Probably not. I realize we are isolated out here (kind of its charm) but it is amazing the things that don't get reported.

Oh well, when The Ogallala runs dry, I bet you'll hear about that.

i read drudge a lot. he is not mainstream... and his website is monitored and attacked constantly. u should watch matt's interview with russia today tv on utube, quite eye opening about the elitists and how his website gets attacked. funny thing about his latelest report on obama's birth certificate forgery... it lists obama's father's birthplace as kenya... and back in 61', when obama was born, kenya wasn't even a country yet, not until 1964. drudge dug that one up.
