Juan Marichal
Nice pick, I was debating whether to choose Bryce Harper or Juan Marichal first

Commish, assume sainte has to wait until tomorrow for next round to start (unless the two missed picks are made)?

Removed my second pick until Kyle's question is answered.

Guys.....I do my drafts a little differently than some of you are used to.  I don't like skipped picks.  It is my feeling that everyone has their time slot each day, and knows when they are picking.  If they know they are going to miss that time, they can send a proxy list.  So, other than accidents/hospitalizations and other unplanned emergencies, there is really no excuse for anyone to miss a pick.

Therefore, if there is an owner skipped, the following owners don't HAVE TO pick in their time slot.  They can pick as soon as the guy in front of them makes their selection.  If we were on the clock today, and I miss my pick from 4-4:30, patco can pick at 4:31, dilligaf can pick at 4:32, roadhouse at 4:33 and so on if they are paying attention and ready.

ALSO, at the end of a scheduled draft day, the draft CAN continue in OFF THE CLOCK mode far into the evening, EVEN IF THERE ARE SKIPPED PICKS!!!  For example, lets say slainte makes his 2nd round pick in the clock at 9:45.  He is encouraged to make his 2rd round pick at the same time.  Then, if SouthHeat is still awake and would rather make his 3rd round pick that night instead of waiting til 10:30 in the morning, he can make that pick at, say 10 pm.  Then it's up to d_rock, and he has that same option, and so on.  Eventually, we will get to someone who has gone to bed and the draft will continue the next day.  I have no problem with getting ahead of the clock.  If it is easier with people's schedules to make those early round picks the night before, instead of waiting til the next day, I am FINE with that.  But skips are not allowed in those situations.  Does that make sense to everybody?
I thought this was the rule.

But I guess if you want to be a considerate drafter we wait until tomorrow.

This suggests I can make my pick.

So, though I don't generally like this guy, his RC are way too high to pass up at this point in the draft.

You can make it....rounds continue into the next one, regardless if there is a skipped pick the previous round or not.  Consider it the penalty for missing your asssigned time.

Sosa has been a mixed bag for me in the past. 1 great, 1 average and 1 so bad he just single handedly cost me a playoff spot...

What about this current round? Does it stop until lilspike's time tomorrow AM or do we keep right on picking? Thanks.

If SouthHeat and d_rock pick tonight, then everyone waits until lilspike makes his two picks.  If he makes them tonight, we keep going off the clock.  If he doesn't, then no picks are made until noon tomorrow, when njbigwig can skip spike again.

In ssupfoo's "You Again?" league, he batted .330+/.450+/.700+ but only had 25 homers.
Used him again in skunk's "choose your own theme" league, batted .250/.296/.??? And hit 25 homers. So I don't know if I want to use him

yeah I've had a mixed bag with him, but his performance history average totals (my bible) trump anyone the board.
