That’s fair. I’d be fine with getting rid of it, but having players gain a day of rest on it I would be 100% against.

i’d me more for removing the rest day between series and only having the placeholder day. Really punish teams for going to a 5th or 7th game.

I'm just guessing at this, from the fact that if you have a bye and are waiting for your next opponent, the game doesn't show up on your schedule until the full day after the previous series is concluded:
There's probably a circumstance - say a series ends in the overnight cycle - that they don't want any chance the new series begins immediately the next cycle. If that were to happen neither team would have any opportunity to adjust rosters, rotations, anything.

Novel concept - send a text message alerting the owner that a playoff series is starting and they might need to change the SP. I could code that in about 2 hours. Or, if their SP1 is below the resting threshold, move to SP2.

A button that changes all minor league players primary and secondary positions to what is reccomended. I hate doing that player by player in the minors.

We're over a year since the original post and it appears not much has happened.

Modify the "Prepare for Regular Season" cycles so that players recover from fatigue in Spring Training. My prospect pitchers are always gassed for the start of the regular season after developing them during ST.

How about shortening spring training to 9 or 12 games instead of 18.

Cut down their pitch count. Biggest thing that really matters in development, particularly spring training, is number of appearances.

I do cut down the pitch count to get them into as many games as possible. They still get tired. There's no reason why players should't recover back to 100% for the start of the season. There's a 2 day gap (6 games cycles) between the end of ST and start of the minor league season.

As we approach another draft can we pleeeeeeeeease consider 1) making the draft board not reset when you change draft settings and 2) making rearranging your draft board easier? Good grief it's painful.

or in the alternative, players start at their projected primary position and are automatically checked into their projected secondary positions. should help with fatigue, too.

+++ My dream is to be able to export my entire draft board (all 700/800 I can see + ???), order it to my liking, and then import back in.

Time and time again I’ll say this. I wish our draft was like hoops dynasty’s recruiting. We have 8 different colours of tabs we can do for players. If we could do that for prospects then sort by colour on top of having them listed by where we have em on the board it would make life so much easier.

How about some free agency contract transparency after roll?

I had a Hall of Fame type pitcher in Dirt that was willing to re-sign last season, but I was not able to re-sign him because one of the years of his new contract would have been over budget due to the incrementally sliding allowed team budget. I tried to pay the player more in other years, but it would not even out the deal. I tried a signing bonus, and it still didn't even out the contract enough so I had to wait to see if he would re-sign this season. Upon roll, it looked like he would still re-sign so I budgeted accordingly. However, now that it's time to re-sign he said he's filing for free agency no matter what.

In a situation where a player is unwilling to re-sign the previous season, I always assumed he would continue to be unwilling to re-sign the following season as well. This assumption has always turned out to be accurate. However, in situations where the player was willing to re-sign, but the team was unable to re-sign him due to the incrementally sliding payroll rules, it would be nice to know that the player changed his mind so I could have budgeted accordingly. Now we're stuck. It's one thing to know a player would not re-sign from the previous season. It's a whole different situation when the player changes his mind after budgets are locked. If that message, "im filing for free agency no matter what" was communicated after roll And before budget lock, it would 100 times more helpful and transparent.
