B.  Drugs are the downfall of America.   9 year olds are the future of America.   Except for the ones telling drug jokes.

should I be more concerned that tec has apparently reproduced or that he supposedly found a women who would do it with him?

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
That he reproduced.   I'm sure it was a pity lay but the women need to be more careful.

The world is doomed if he is.

How much affect does the coaching staff have on how a team plays?  Could an amazing coaching staff help a so-so team, or could a lame coaching staff doom a great team?  Or is the staff solely for development?

The bench coach makes game decisions when the manager is thrown out.  Other than that, it's only for development purposes.

What is the best position for this guy?

Aramis Eusebio

He's projected 77 range, 87 glove, 85 arm strength, 84 arm accurancy

I don't worry too much about projections.   I don't think he can hit the position but I'd like him at 3B.    He hits more like a 2B and, if his range reaches 77(I think it will), he can play there at better than average.

Assuming all else is equal, which of these guys would you rather have on the in your rotation as opposed to the bullpen:

A) Average splits/pitches, great control: .272 OAV, 1.27 WHIP, 1.76 BB/9
or
B) Above average splits/pitches, mediocre control: .230 OAV, 1.48 WHIP, 5.42 BB/9

In other words, is the lower WHIP more attractive than the lower OAV, or vice-versa?
4/11/2011 7:43 AM
I tend to put the better WHIP in my rotation.    My starters generally have a lower pull rating so I prefer they keep men off base.   In the pen, if they get in trouble via walks, they get the hook and the next low OAV/high BB pitcher tries to clean up the mess.

Mike, if you had the chose of a 90/90/90 CTRL/LH/RH 1P/90 2P/70 SP pitcher and CONT/LH/RH/EYE 90 catcher, with 70/70/70 AS/AA/PC which one would you take?
4/11/2011 8:39 AM (edited)
It depends on the world and my other options but I'd usually take pitching.    The C is a stud(obviously) but he's likely to give you 7-9 seasons of his best while the pitcher will be effective for twice that long.

Have at it. What is your Season 18 prediction for the Oklahoma City Jud Frys?
4/11/2011 10:11 AM
The Oklahomo City French Frys have to win 69 to stay in the world.   So I predict 70 wins.

Too early for this to be reality now, but...if the FA period goes bad, I have two players that are in AA, and have not played a game past High A, being good enough to be in the top 25.

Other than earlier arb eligibility, I'm understanding it correctly that there's not much risk in having them in the majors as long as they get regular playing time, correct?
