My plan changes every round. When you start drafting at #17 and your first 8 picks are the leftovers it makes for a completely different challenge than if you are drafting with your first 8 picks being the top 8 players, even if they are from different Franchises. I don't normally draft my bench and scrub relievers first when I put a team together.

I'm not drafting with much flexibility, which could certainly bite me later. Worst comes to worst, I start to run out of money earlier than anticipated and start drafting cheaply. Every team has many options at any position, so I don't think anyone will end up "stuck" with anyone. You just might not be able to afford a better player you'd have preferred.

I have several expensive guys but if something better comes along I can take a cheaper version. I think I'll be ok.

So far, I have pretty good salary flexibility with my position player picks. Not so much on the pitching side. Looking forward to having some higher draft picks, which will give me more options when looking at pitchers.
