I believe in a higher power which, for me, is God.   However, to be a true "Christian", it seems you have to be willing to say anyone who doesn't believe what you believe is wrong.  I'm not willing to say the Muslims, Buddhists, etc, etc, don't know **** and will burn in hell.   I've got some issues with organized religion.  My wife yelled at me this morning because I said "Well, if you believe the Bible, dogs don't have souls so they can't go to heaven."    I bet that's more than you wanted to know.

Percival put up some good numbers but I don't think anyone ever said "Man, we gotta get us a Troy Percival!"     I kind of equate him to John Franco.   Effective enough but not so much that you sweated facing him.   Franco got 4.6% of the HOF vote.   The voters aren't all that fond of RP.   So, yes, he was on something when he declared TP a future HOFer.

Why are some players with 4+ years experience not eligible for the rule 5?  Are they only eligible for so many rule 5 drafts?

Is this a system hiccup or not:  team selects player in Rule 5 draft, offers back less than one hour after selection without placing on the roster, how is it fair that the selecting team only loses a net amount $25,000 to potentially cost the team that lost the player $270,000 if they take him back?

40 man roster or mulit-year contracts.    Nope.

That is one answer.

That is not a question.

They are supposed to revert back to minor league salary if they're never put on the BL roster.   It's a problem.
