Big story today from Cliff Christl suggesting that the Packer organization's orchestrated bashing of Favre last year was directed by the Executive Committee and not Ted Thompson... Ted made the decision to go forward without Brett but the Executive Committee was responsible for the PR campaign going forward (including the hiring of Ari Fleischer as advisor... though Christl could not find any reporters who would admit to having been contacted by Fleischer to spin the story)

It sure looks that way so far, it (14-3 right now) but it is early.

I just have a feeling the pack will put it together in the 2nd half.

Maybe no so much.

I love how Percy Harvin caught that ball and the 3 Packer defenders ran into each other and ALL 3 fell down.

Packers put it together in the 2nd half for awhile but obviously didn't do enough to pull it out. That first half was the worst they've played this season. The defense gave up big plays at bad times and the penalties hurt again (especially Jolly's headbutt). But the main problem, once again, was pass protection. 6 sacks is unacceptable.

What an embarrassing performance. I'm really hoping this spells the end of the Mike McCarthy era. Apparently the only thing he can really do is exert some control over Brett's wilder tendencies.
