Can we start the rookie draft? I do not believe anyone selected from here on out will effect what teams take in the rookie draft.

OK Guys I have assigned the rest of the exclusives to the team that they were exclusive to. There are 2 guys on the draft page and one of them goes to the DL If anyone wants them sitemail me. If anyone has any more players who slipped through the cracks and you have a spot sitemail me and I'll add them. I have posted all the traded draft picks on the rookie draft page. Please verify for accuracy and sitemail me immediately if you find an error. I have to be gone in the morning but when I get in tomorrow afternoon we will start the rookie draft off the clock and barring problems we will start on the clock friday.

If you have any problems or questions with anything Please sitemail me ASAP. Let's get this rookie draft done and play some ball

This is a crappy way to end the draft Larrry. I had one more pick I wanted to make and bjcole just gets the guy I wanted because you change the rules at the last minute?

Yes ennam I gave serious thought to putting off the rookie draft for a week and having 2 more rounds of a draft with no more players just for you but could not think of a single reason to do it. I have apologized to you 3 times now for running out of players and I al already again sick of it. Out of 23 owners you are the only one who cannot accept a decision that goes against you I have posted for days about players who did not make the draft board That they were first come first served. Anyone who paid any attention to the draft at all could see that we were running out of players and that I would have to make an executive decision. I am not going to order bj to give you Gardner....period I am sorry he read the sitemail before you did but I am not set up to have a conference call with all owners and even if I was someone might not have got the call.

When we finished our designated slots last night I posted that we had 3 players and ANY owner who wanted tose players could sitemail me for those or any players who fell through the cracks. Once again I am SORRY that I didn't have enough forsight to count how many players we had or how many would be on the DL. I am SORRY that we ran out of players and I am SORRY that if Gardner was that important to you, that you didn't try to get him sooner. I have to work for a few hours and we will start the rookie draft off the clock.

Once again ennam I am sorry that things didn't play out the way you wanted but that is the way they played out. We freaking ran out of players in the 23rd round. I wasted one entire day arguing with you when you didn't get your way and I am not doing it again.

Larry,
keeping to the point:

1.) at the beginning of the draft it was stated that it would be 25 rounds
2.) when the league asked to "open up" the draft it was stated that it would be in rounds 22-25
3.) the schedule you posted yesterday had my 23rd round pick slated for 9:00-9:30 last night
4.) I had every intention of taking Gardner with my 24th round pick... so, I go to bed last night...
5.) AND THEN you decide to not have rounds 24 and 25 and make it open season...

This is a very BS way to run a league...

You can always make an executive decision and give him to his rightful team the New York Yankees ;)

Just kidding, cant we just move on?

Enman.. I am just now seeing this. First, there is no sure thing that you would have even gotten him. Other teams still picked BEFORE you in round 24. Is Rod Gardner really going to make a difference for your team?
