STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS 2009-10 Topic

juskay, we finally agree on something...The Hawks have to care of their own business. Forget everyone else. Besides, whether they make it in 1st or 8th, it doesn't really matter.

Toews? I love Toews ..Its Kane that can  lick my ball sack.. I respect most of what you say Muddy ,but if you are gonna take a run  at Burrows im gonna take a run at Kane ..as for Andru? he really should stick with the Habs ..all french Canadians are Habs fans .. lets face it ? we all hate french Canadians ..just like Ricky Bobby and the French  F#ck in that movie..they all get on our nerves and are annoying as Hell...go eat your croissants and bang your hairy arm pitted  skanks :.>

sorry Andru..no offense..can i meet you and ill  buy you a french onion soup?   we can have some pepsi and  croissants afterwards...
1/12/2011 4:26 PM
ill even walk with you and your french poodle
1/12/2011 4:28 PM
Kane did nothing that EVERY hockey player has done at least once....banging a skank.  Burrows did what NO manly hockey player does....pulling hair like a *****.  You simply can't defend that action.

randle, I've learned to ignore most of your posts because I realize that they're either because you're drunk or just teasing someone...but enough with the racists comments. I am not french canadian but as I said, I do have family and friends that are and I find it disgusting the way you generalize and demean the entire french canadian population. I am asking you nicely to please stop.

Say what you want about any hockey team or player, but enough with the racism. You wouldn't make comments like that about black people, or about jews or muslims, so what makes this any different? It's offensive to an entire race of people, not all of which are as you describe, and it has no place here, let alone in society. There are many french canadians in hockey, let alone the country, who are classy people and deserve our respect. Mario Lemieux, Martin St.Louis, Jean Beliveau, Maurice Richard and Ray Bourque are just some examples of great hockey players who are french canadian, and are great people as well. What about Olympic Gold Medallists Joannie Rochette and Alex Bilodeau?

Please, enough of this nonsense. Hate is a strong word. I hate white supremacists for example. If you really do hate french canadians, do so on your own, not in a public forum where you know your narrow-minded comments will offend people.

On a lighter note, another great performance last night by the Hawks. It looks like the secondary role players are finally hitting their stride as we're seeing great play from Dave Bolland, Troy Brouwer and Jack Skille (all of which scored last night). Tomas Kopecky also looks like a different player since Hossa came back (coincidence?). Corey Crawford looked solid again in posting his second straight shutout, and he (finally!) seems ready for prime time duty at the NHL level.

Don't look now, but the rash of early season injuries may have been the season's turning point as the team looks to be playing their best hockey of the season and seem more cohesive since everyone came back.

Or it could be that 2 of those last 3 wins were against the sens and the islanders.

OK your now 1 game over .500...........10 games over .500 is your target the rest of the way!!!

Wrong juskay. Our target is being there on night one of the playoffs, because as every good hockey fan knows, it's a brand new season at that point and everyone's at 0.

As for the quality of the last 3 wins, I think a 4-0 shutout win of the Avalanche, one of the league's highest scoring teams, is good enough.

One game over?  Check the standings again, tough guy.  As much as you hate the DEFENDING STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, we are still a heckuva team and will contend for a decade.

Great win tonight as we continue a nice winning streak.  Moy, it's funny how you try to devalue a win....I notice the Flyers aren't playing the 1985 Oilers night after night either.  I can't wait to hear the hate when we catch Detroit by the end of the season.  That should be a hoot!!

flyers needed to play NJ/NYI back to back to get off a mid-season slide.  The wins are helpful in the standings but I'm not gauging the flyers chemistry based on them (unless they lose the gimmes) -  I'd rather bring up the fact the flyers are 3-1 vs the penguins w/ crosby (which is rare), just beat detroit too.  Thats how you can tell if your team is playing well enough to be a contender. seriously - congrats on your 3 game W streak.  seems like the flyers get that about once a week.

Funny how I didn't hear anyone devaluing the Lightning's Cup win beating up on the then-lowly Thrashers, Capitals, Panthers and Hurricanes on their way there...NHL competition is NHL competition and any team can win on a given night if their opponent doesn't bring their A-game (except the Flames :-P)
