the way this is shaping up I'm going to have a lot of minutes, is this typical in UPL?
Yes, especially when we get a few seasons into the league.

You will have players with 3000 minutes as your 12th man.

Sigh... once again, we get 12+ hours ahead of schedule, only to see the draft come to a screetching halt.  I'm not sure why I rushed to squeeze my picks in during the 15-minute window I had last night (when I stopped at home) when I could have taken my time, done more research, etc., etc.  We'd still be right back to where we are now, anyway.

it seems it is the same ones that hold us up all the time....It is amazing that people do not proxy

I woke up expecting to pick at 6am! I'm in no rush now to make a ****** pick again hah

The way this is going I may get two seasons out of Stephen Curry.

One thing about playing in leagues with shooter- most drafts end up stalling when he is up to pick.

I havent held up the draft till now and I dont see the big deal anyways, the draft is going to most likely end up to its last time slot anyway .

WHAT????  You held up the first round by 7 hours and the third round by 5 hours.

You were kinda notorious for this even when I used to play.  I think you are allergic to proxies.  I am not trying to be rude here, but I think that you AND some others need to consider everyone else when drafting.

Agreed, a lot of try to make an effort to be as early as possible on our pick.  Shooter I don't know why and maybe even you have a good reason.  But if you see the draft is going early maybe you should consider a proxy...

Guys ... let's go a little easy here.  We all have other stuff going on outside of WIS, and the whole point of a schedule is that everyone knows exactly when they need to be sure to get onto the site to make their picks.  Many of us have the flexibility to check the site much more frequently (sometimes I wish I didn't!), and we can keep things moving when the draft picks up speed.  Others obviously can't, for whatever reason.  But don't take it personal ... nobody's trying to screw up your day if they aren't able to make a pick immediately.  And it's not the end of the world if we have to wait a while to make a pick.

So let's either change the draft rules (e.g., you get two hours to pick from the time the guy before you picks) or just assume this thing is going to go according to the schedule.

I didn't mean to point fingers at any one person.  I'm more mad at myself.  Picking on the end has it's advantages (more time to contemplate who my picks will be) and disadvantages (must wait 46 picks before you get to choose again).  I wanted to "keep things moving" last night, so I made my choices a little bit hastily.  And for what reason?  So somebody else could use the extra time?  It doesn't seem to matter how quickly I draft as we always "catch up to the schedule" shortly thereafter.  I guess what I am saying is that I will be a little more deliberate in my selections going forward.
