That actually reminds me of a thought I had.

My daughter was listening to a podcast, and I thought "damn, apparently ,they'll let any idiot on the internet".

That, of course, made me think "I can do that".

Picture this; a podcast where we all talk sports, me, you, tec, todd, iain et al to mock each other mercilessly as we do here, only for the "enjoyment" of the money paying public.

Think of it..."moose humping Canuck", "tecweird" and "MikeTard23" become household catch phrases among the young and impressionable.

Great idea, no?

Two men are arguing at the state line.  After some time, the first man (who is standing in one state) pulls out a gun and shoots the second man (standing in the other state) dead.

Assuming the shooter is identified and captured, which state has jurisdiction for prosecuting the crime?

Applying logic, I'd say the shooter's state.  But it wouldn't surprise me if it was the dead man's state.

One Canadian and one American are arguing across the border. After some time, the American pulls out a gun and shoots the Canadian dead, but not before the Canadian manages to apologize for getting in the way of the bullet. Would a crowd form behing the American chanting "USA! USA!" because if the American shot a man dead, he must have been a sympathizer of Osama Bin Laden, therefore it's ok?

I'm not sure shooting a Canadian is even against the law in America.  You may have to have a license to do it but I think you can purchase it after the fact.
