I saw a headline about Ray Lewis saying the crime rate will increase with no NFL, but did not read the story. Is his theory based on the fact that the Raiders will have nothing constructive to occupy their time with and will embark on a major crime spree?

I think he's basing it on the fact they Ray Lewis won't have anything to do.

They've never really said but I think it's because of the "feel".   Obviously, when there's a big gator struggling, gloves might be a good idea.  But when you're pulling something to the top, the gloves remove some of the feel you have on the rope.   So you might be slowly pulling a big log to the top or a gator.  But you don't know because you can't really feel it thru the gloves.

Meh.  This isn't PC but there's no way to know exactly what happened.  Stow might have been the aggressor and just ended up on the wrong end of the fight.  The objective of a fight is to hit the other guy so hard or so many times that he can't hit back or just wants you to stop hitting him.  I somehow doubt Mr. Necktattoo was just minding his own business but we should probably find out before having him kicked in the head until he drowns in his own blood.

Those threads always seem to be "What can I expect from this guy?"    I find them really, really stupid.  First, worlds play differently.  Second, they're usually asking for an answer based on projections.  Third, they don't tell us how much they have in scouting.  Fourth, there's always someone willing to say .300/.379/.525 when they really have no idea.  Finally, I find those threads really, really stupid and stop checking after the first post.
