Okay by my count the PL has 7 members the NL has 6 members and the AL has 5 members which means......



































.... The PL will sit out two members this round and chose one person from the NL to go to exile island. Challenge up shortly.

Last Survivor we had the Earl Weaver challenge. This time around we will honnor another manager Billy Martin. Choose a Billy Martin mannaged team. Each tribe will then assign a different pitcher to each of the 5 participating members.

Here is the Billy Martin twist. Once when his team was mired in a slump and complaing about thier spots in the line up Martin drew his line up out of a hat and you will too. Send me your starting 8 in the field and random.org will give you back your line up. I will allow you to keep your pitch in the 9 spot. Your lineup must stay with the same players through the first 5 innings. (aside form pitcher)

Teams are not exclusive and are due by 6pm Wednesday night but lets try to get em in and get going.

question...are these individual lineups for each player, or is it the same lineup for each team. I guess what I'm getting at is that I am sure I have used vastly diferrent starting lineups than other members of my team. Is it up to each member to submit their roster, or just one for the team?

SO, is the PL choosing which NL person goes to Exile, or do I?

The PL chooses who goes from the NL.

Each tribe will use the same lineup for the first 5 innings. That is up to the captain to make the final choice, you can discuss it but the captian has final call.

Clarification, each of those 5 Sp may not pitch out of the pen. And yes same rule majority of appearances must be out of the pen to be used out of the pen.

Okay I realized I off one small part about the set up of play. Each tribe will have 5 playing but what they will do is assign the first 4 to play. After each of those 4 have played each tribe should have one person to play in event a tie breaker is needed. I assume with only 4 games we will probably need that tie breaker. So some strategy, to do hold a top pitcher back for a game you may not need or do you throw him early. This is how we will get around 15 active participants in this round.

So does this mean our 4 players each have to use a different starting pitcher? Or can all four us the same starter?

So we're only in trouble in the case of a 3-way tie...

Each of your 5 must use a different SP.
