His ban may have prevented this guy's parents from ever coming here - which would have prevented this event from occurring. Wait til you hear more details on this guy's dad.... who claims he is the president of Afghanistan.

We can't change the fact that some people are already here because of lax foreign policy, especially under Obama. But we can realize a growing # of Muslims want to destroy America and stop allowing the them to come to this country (if they aren't already citizens) while Congress finds a better way to vet visa applicants. It's a better plan than taking in 65,000 mostly Muslim refugees over the next year.... with no way for our overwhelmed FBI to vet them.

A business example.... say Chevy is producing a car and they find out it has major flaws that are are causing the deaths of its drivers and passengers, what do they do? Do they immediately stop producing these faulty cars until they figure out a solution to keep people safe (and possibly recall the cars that have defects) or do they start producing 65000 more of these cars, continue selling them, and hope that no more faulty cars get into the hands of drivers?

BL is only thinking about next week. Because, after that, there will be no more radicalized Muslims. They're starting to come around to our way of thinking. Notice how the Middle East has become a stable region? It will spread.

We need to severely restrict the purchase of guns despite the fact that there are millions/billions in circulation.
We don't need to limit Muslim immigration because there are already Muslims in the US.

You are asking the wrong question. no not all Muslims have 'defects'..... nor will all cars with faulty airbags actually kill anyone. the correct question is..... Are there enough Muslims around the world that intend to harm Americans, and Westerners for that matter, to raise a reasonable concern for public safety? When was the last time a Christian flew two planes into the world trade center? When was the last time a Jew shot up a rock concert? When was the last time a non-muslim shot up a gay bar and killed 50 people? THE FBI IS OVERWHELMED RIGHT NOW AND CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE EXISTING WORKLOAD TO VET PROPERLY.... and you want to allow 65000 potential threats to enter this country.... why?

The FBI knew the shooter was a threat. He was on the no fly list. But congress wouldn't pass a law preventing people on the no fly list from buying guns.

But, by all means, Trump should continue to insist that banning Muslims is the way to go.

Bad answer. Why do YOU think it's okay to allow an additional 65000 potential threats to American Public Safety into the country on foreign visas when the FBI director has already said they can't vet everyone properly?

Everyone (including people born here) is a potential threat but we don't stop allowing immigrants or people on visas because of it.
