I think it's just tec trying to feel good about himself.  I can see him saying(to himself of course) "Nobody is coming near me today because I told them I smelled.  I'm very popular most of the time!"

The banned ad says an animal is abused once every ten seconds. Wouldn't you think that by the 5th minute, it would have enough and start fighting back?

I understand that, but that's a wordplay joke that has it's roots deep in the English tradition of using double meanings as a basis for humour. Thus, the animal abuse is not the subject of the joke, rather the lack of clarity in specifying the conditions of the statistics used in the advertisement.

The actual origin of the joke was based on "a child" rather than "an animal".

Did I wiggle out of it, or not so much?

a couple of questions regarding previous quesations...the forg asked why some state hated wisconsin...wouldn't a better question be are there any states that don't hate wisconsin?  also, other than yourself and possibly your wife, is there anyone you do not hate? (and your dogs don't count..I mean humans)

She dropped them off, and I just realized I've been had.

There are 26 chickens laying eggs (after a raccoon or two snuck in and took down three of them), 3 turkeys ready to go after the female finishes hatching up to 14 eggs, 10 more chickens in another coop (same niece, first attempt at the incubator), 15 meat chickens and 15 turkeys delivered as babies at the beginning of the week and now these 12.

That's 92 birds. How the hell did I get sucked into this?
