I didn't have Alomar on my board at all - figured there was no way I'd have a shot at him...

Oh, and the first pick that made me yell at my computer was hacker7's pick of 1985 Pedro Guerrero yesterday...

Normally, when we assemble a roster, we try to get as close to the salary cap as possible, filling out the last few spots with 200-300K scrubs.  But in this draft, it will be very hard to get super close to the $110M cap, since there just aren't that many players available in the $10 to $13 million dollar range.

Anybody want to guess what the average salary wasted per team will be in this league?  My guess... $650K per team (i.e. avg salary = 109.35 K).

I'm going to guess a bit higher ($1.5m) as I think a bunch of people screwed up taking far too many RPs and forced to aim high for their remaining IP (i.e. multiple people look to be attempting to go for 88 King so I abandoned that idea and am going to plan B).  By the time they realize what has happened, they'll end up getting blocked and get stuck taking a way lower priced pitcher.
