I remember 1968. Besides Bob Gibson with an era under 1.20 with lots of innings.
My first year as a fan.
Denny McLain having a rare dominant 30+ win season for Detroit.
Luis Tiant for my Indians pitching as well or better than McLain. Just on a weaker team.

They had raised the mound that year. It was way too dominant for pitchers so it was changed back the next year. (I think)
