Yikes to Jeff Carter stick handling himself out of a good scoring chance. That's the most open I've seen a Flyer's player with the puck since DesJardins goal in the '05-'06 playoffs agains the Sabres when Forsberg did a circle around the offensive zone and feed it to Eric.

Nice outlet by Coburn and sweet saucer pass by Gags to set Carter up. Here's hoping they put it away in the 3rd.

ugh, i finished reading that last comment about 3 seconds before the Montreal goal.

Damn good game. Too many mistakes in the 2nd half of the first period for my liking, but the rest of the game was quite solid.

Did you see Hartnell's saucer pass to (i think) Carter a little bit before that? Cross ice from blue line to blue line.

yes, I did. Their passing, breakout and defense look a lot better than the first couple weeks of the season. Carle looks like he's been Coburn's partner for 5 seasons. Great addition.
